WACM is the women's chapter of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). Basically we are the women's computer science club, However we are not just about coding. We are students who are interested in computer science, technology, STEM, and anything that falls in between.

 

Our goals for Fall 2015:

• Bring people from the STEM world to speak on campus

• Increase campus-wide engagement and awareness

• Attend conferences and events beyond the school

• Have meetings with practical and useful content (eg. coding bootcamps, projects)

• Provide a feeling of community and support for women interested in STEM fields

• Provide resources for success in STEM fields

 

We open our doors to any UPS student who is supportive of our goals and mission. We will not solve the problem of inequality in the work place by refusing to work with each other.
